Sugoto Mukherjee, MD is a Professor of Radiology, Otorhinolaryngology/ Head & Neck Surgery
at the University of Virginia Health System, where he also serves as the Chief of Division of
Neuroimaging.
Dr Mukherjee received his medical degree from India, where he also completed a residenyc in
Diagnostic Radiology. He them moved to US where he completed additional fellowships in
Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology at the University of Virginia, and stayed on as a
faculty.
Dr Mukherjee is co-author of two books, “Manual of Head & Neck Imaging” and “Emergency
Neuroradiology: A Case Based Approach” and has also written numerous review articles, book
chapters and scientific articles.
Dr Mukherjee’s trye passion is teaching, and in addition to lecturing at various local and
national confernces each year, also served in the American Board of Radiology and does
numerous board reviews for trainees.
